Some of these programs are fairly well organized and you can communicate with the people conducting them, but others are really struggling to come into existance, and it may be that to participate in them you'll just have to show up. Therefore, on the one hand here the traveler can enjoy a sense of being a pioneer, of taking part in a real adventure, yet on the other hand no one can guarantee how your adventure will turn out. We try our best to give you all the information we have, but in the end your best preparation for these experiences may be to be curious, to like people in general, and to keep your sense of humor.
