Host Tang Jun has plenty of experience organizing and leading
tours in Tibet. Though the birds on this tour are great, Tang Jun says that "this is
a great deal more than 'just a bird tour'" because you will have ample opportunity to
experience the wild Tibetan landscape, meet its widely spaced people and learn their
customs. Two tours are proposed, one for 12 days, the other for 26. Among the birds you
might see are the elusive Tibetan Sandgrouse and the very rare Roborovski's Rosefinch.
