Host Eric Vissouze proposes taking you hiking through some of the world's most celebrated scenery in the Alps of southeastern France. Each day as you hike through meadows, along deep valleys and sharp mountain crests, your hiking is limited to only four to six hours so you can take your time and enjoy things. Most of the peaks are no more than 5,500 to 6,500 feet high, but on the last day you make it to 8,000 where you can see all the way from Provence to the Northern Alps. Your baggage is carried by your host. This is meant to be a beautiful hike, not an endurance test.
