Education: M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering, the Danish Technical Univ. Languages: English, Danish, Dutch and German Background: Born in Bogor-Indonesia, George grew up in the local community there and spent his early years in Medan and Bukit Tinggi-Sumatra (Indonesia), as well as in Sandakan-Sabah (North Borneo), a bit in Lexington - Kentucky (USA), a bit in Zaandam (Holland), plus a few other places in countries on this globe somewhere in-between. He attended the various local public schools where he learned to speak and write the language. He learned the history, geography, and local customs and culture. With this mixed international background from various spots on this globe, he finally settles down in Copenhagen, Denmark. Strongly motivated at the time, he decides to become an electronics engineer, and thus converted his interest in anything wireless, into a profession. From 1985, and based out of Denmark, - he travels to the Asian Pacific region, - specializing in sales and project management of Telecom solutions. From 1998-2002 he travels less long distance, working for a major US telecom-solutions vendor, setting up business in Denmark. From 2002-> he works freelance as a consultant. In 2005 he starts brushing up his rusty French, residing along the Mediterranean, time permitting. All the while with Earthfoot, the non-profit internet activity he began with a partner in November 1998. Together with the hosts presented here, EarthFoot is an attempt to show the colorfulness and diversity we have on this globe. To enjoy, to learn all about, to delve into and to speak about.
