Background: Mr. Bhagwaldas is from one of the prominent Hindu families of Kerala called Kandath. He is a Graduate of The University of California, Berkeley. After his graduation he has lived in San Francisco for 14 years engaged in business. He returned to India in 1983 to support in the family business of Transport, Real Estate, Banking and Agriculture. He has now settled in the family ancestral home (Tharavad).

He is engaged apart from his business in Agriculture. He grows on his farm rice, coconut, mango, guava, vegetables etc. He is very much into organic farming and the vegetables served at the house are all organically grown in the farm.

He has opened the house to tourists to share this beautiful heritage home for an experience into the village life of Kerala.
