 Chris is 34
years old and has been birding since the age of seven. Chris served on the Kent Ornithological Society Editorial and Records
committee between 1989 and 2002, during which time he chaired the Society's Rare Birds
Panel, acted as an area recorder and administrated the society's web site. He is also a
council member of the Ornithological Society of the Middle
East, being involved in the society's conservation and research activities and is an
identification consultant to the society's journal SANDGROUSE. Regular travel over the
past 15 years has entailed visits to most European countries, twelve countries in
Asia, USA, Canada, Venezuela, the Caribbean and Africa. Particularly interested in the
birds of Asia and the Western Palearctic he has made repeated trips to Spain, France,
Turkey, Morocco, Malaysia, China and the Indian subcontinent.Chris conducts EarthFoot's Tailored Birding in Southeatern England experience. |
