Kence GeorgeyKence Georgey, was born in 1966 in an Agriculture Family in the Village Called Kumarakom, in Kerala State INDIA. His family is the so called Syrian Christian family in the Central Travancore called Ummacheril. In INDIA, Syrian Christians particularly in South India was adopted Christianity at the time of St. Thomas. His father Mr. Kurian George was an agriculturist and mother Mrs. Ammini Kurian was a Housewife.

 He did his schooling from the Marthoma Seminary School (found by Christian Missionaries) at Kottayam. And he did his Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the CMS College (first Christian College in South India) Kottayaam. Later he did his Masters Degree in Management (MBA) from the College of Commerce, Maharashtra State. He also did Computer application Courses from the Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala State.

After his studies, his first job assignment was with a British Company called Co-ordination International Company in Dubai, U.A.E. His posting was as Administrative Assistant at the Sofware Consultancy Division of the Company. Later, he worked about eight years with the leading Real Estate firm in South India called Skyline Builders. He served as the Commercial Manager and later as Branch Manager with the Skyline Builders. The Company was a professionally managed real estate business company building Apartments and Villas in major Town in Kerala.

During his tenure with Skyline Builders, the Tourist boom at his home Village just started. He was keen on the developments happening in the Village Kumarakom. There were about 5 Luxury 5 Star Hotels started in the backwater village. And there are many budget type Hotels and Resorts started functioning in the village. Most amazingly, the Government or local governing bodies were not much keen on the environmental problems related with Growing Tourism. So Mr. Kence Gorgey was dreaming of an Eco Friendly tourism project in the village.
