Ron & Erin Lowe-Pagliaro

Ron & Erin Lowe-PagliaroErin is originally from Freeport, Grand Bahama.   She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, with a minor in Environmental Policy from Warren Wilson College in North Carolina .  She graduated Valedictorian of her High School class from Stone-Leigh Burnham School in Western Mass, USA. A life-long love of the outdoors, especially the sea,  led Erin to travel to many parts of the globe on sailing yachts and tall ships.  She also has several years experience as a naturalist guide in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and the USA.  These experiences led her to pursue an International Offshore Sailing Yachtmaster Certificate, the first Bahamian woman to do so.   She and Ron met while working aboard the Bahamian built schooner, William H. Albury - Erin the Captain and Ron as the mate - The obvious running joke she loves to tell is of course "and little had changed since!"

Ron hails from the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey, where early on he discovered a love of wilderness, and things natural, the simple complexities that intertewines our world.  Much of his childhood and adolescence was spent trekking through the forests, wetlands, and rivers by foot and canoe - mostly looking at birds and other wildlife.  After Graduating with a Bach in Economics from Stockton College, he decided to "see the world" and try an
alternative life style, road less traveled and so on - so he set-off for Florida in his 20 foot daysailer.  Experience gained on that voyage  earned him a US Coast Guard Master license, and he made a career out of sailing throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and Bahamas.

Cut to his meeting Erin while working for the Boy Scouts of America on the William H., finding sand in his shoes, falling in Love, getting married - finally,  deciding to start a business dedicated to sharing with others the enchanted places that still exist our corner of the world, hopefully creating an inherent need for their preservation - and there you have us.

Ron & Erin conduct EarthFoot's "Sea-Kayaking, Drift Snorkeling, Land Tours and Birding on Great Abaco Island
