Host Rajesh George operates a farm-lodge located in an area especially good for birding. The lodge sits on a farm adjoining the Kalakkad-Mundanthurai Wildlife sanctuary. Small scale tours in Tirunelveli District, and treks in the Western Ghats are offered as well. The lodge is spartan but comfortable; the emphasis being on richness of experience rather than on luxury. There is running water, electricity, refrigerator and a telephone but no TV or hot water.
