Length: The itineraries are for six days, but other arrangments can be
discussed.

Fee: One itinerary is for US $1,620.00 and the other is for
$1,380.50. These fees cover all in-country transportation (3 or more air conditioned van
trips, 2 charter flights, 1 boat transfer), meals, taxes (sales and room), departure fees,
activities, guide fees, lectures/classroom work, and pertinent natural history and Maya
archaeology literature. They do NOT include international airfare, incidentals, or tips.

2 Nights Lamanai Outpost Lodge and Field Research
Center (LFRC) - Northern Belize
* River safari/transfer - New River
* In-depth behind the scenes tour Lamanai Archaeological Reserve (Laura
is a senior member of the Lamanai Archaeological Project (LAP) staff and can offer the
latest discoveries/interpretations from the sites we will visit)
* Lecture: Ancient Maya Art and Architecture
* Lamanai's Pre-Columbian Artifact Collection
* Introduction to biological research carried out at LFRC (depending on
availability we may be able to partake/monitor some of these projects that could include
Black Howler Monkeys, Morelets' Crocodile Research, or bats, see www.lamanai.org)
* Pre-planned community service project as part of Beyond Touring's
Indian Church Village Community Enhancement Project (ICVCEP) in conjunction with LFRC and
LAP
