During the journey you enjoy the warm and unforgettable hospitality of my people, you experience our traditional nomadic lifestyle, while traveling a land rich in history and natural wonders.  By the end of the trip I hope that you  have learned to see the desert a little the way I see it: though vegetation is sparse, animal life rare, the spiritual experience of nature is unique.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY:
SANDSTONE TREKKING
(September – May)

NOTE: Can be designed as walking tour as well as camel trek

Day 1: transfer from Sharm Airport into the desert for overnight camp with the Bedouins

Day 2: start the trek with loading the camels with food and water supply: trek to the biblical oasis of Ain Hudra, hike the White Canyon, camp out near Ain Hudra

Day 3: visit the Rock of Inscriptions (Nabatean, byzanthine, roman), trek to Nawamis, ancient burial chambers of the early Bronze Age, overnight near Jebel Makhroum (old Pilgrim’s mark)

the wide desertDay 4:   Wadi Hudada with the biggest sand dune of the South Sinai

Day 5:  trek to Bir el Ogda

Day 6:  trek to Ras Abu Gallum in the Nature Protectorate, beautiful bay on the Red Sea

Day 7:  walk to the Blue Hole along the cliffs (famous dive spot) transfer to Sharm el Sheikh, overnight in 3* hotel HB

Day 8: departure
