YAPEN WAROPEN ISLANDS
Yapen Waropen Islands is one of the closest island to Biak, only twenty minutes by Merpati twin-otter flight to the district capital, Serui or six ( 6 ) hours by motorized boat. The islands of Yapen Waropen has different sights of Interest. It own the richest of mammals and birds among the neighbor at the Cenderawasih Bay. By two - hour boating east, for instance, you wiil be enchanted by the most complete habitat of bird of Paradise and other Irian typical birds in Irian Jaya.

SIX-DAY ITINERARY

Day 01:  BIAK  (BLD)

Arrive Biak airport our tour guide will meet the clients then transfer pax to your hotel Arumbai. Lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02:  BIAK – MIOSINDI – POOM VILLAGE (BLD)

After breakfast at your Hotel then proceed by outrigger boat to Miosindi Island in 3 hours near Yapen Island.   Arrive Miosindi our staffs will prepare food for your lunch while guide by boat swimming and snorkeling around the coral reefs after your activities here then back to beach for your lunch after lunch pax with guide go around the Island to see the panorama drinking the young fresh coconuts then watching some groups of flying dogs hanging above the branches of cassowary trees along the beach. After your tour on this island then by boat directly proceed to poom village in one hour at Yapen Island. Pax dinner and overnight at local house.

Day 03:  POOM VILLAGE PAIAI – AIKAKOPA   (BLD)

After simple breakfast then in the early morning pax start trekking around 5-6 hours up and down the hill more than 700 meters from the sea level scout by the local escort to see many kinds of birds and trees and plantation along the Path in rainforest of Yapen. Arrive Paiai beach then pax have some rest for lunch.   After lunch one hour by outrigger boat proceed to Aikakopa.  Arrive there then prepare your tents or local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 04:  AIKAKOPA – AIBAI PARADISE ISLAND   (BLD)

After simple breakfast in the early morning walking 30 minutes to the jungle for watching the birds of paradise in their habitat. After watching the birds of jungle and return to your camp. Breakfast at your camps then prepare your things for continuing your voyage to the paradise island Aibai. Arrive here then pax prepare tents, food for lunch. Then pax relax on the white sandy beach or snorkeling and swimming. Lunch and dinner on this island. Afternoon pax and crewmembers collecting the old woods along the beach for Api Unggun (fire) after your dinnertime at night before sleeping enjoying the blue and beautiful stars in the sky.

Day 05:  AIBAI – BIAK (BLD)

After breakfast then pax by boat return to Biak arrive there transfer to your Hotel..

Day 06:  BIAK – AIPORT (BLD)

After breakfast our guide will pick you up the airport your next flight.
