Number of guests: 1 or more but note that however many there are, there's a minimum fee of $75 for any half day and $100 for any full day.
Fee: Each tour costs $25 pp plus equipment rental.
THE CONCEPT:
I am in Crystal River, Florida. When you come here it's a good idea to put two tours together and make a full day of fun! Stay for several days! There is a hotel on the property, so you can
walk from your room to Capt. Chad's dive shop and boat. You will not be "double charged" for rental gear if you do two tours in one day.
ITINERARIES
Manatee tours:
Manatee tours should start around 8am in the morning. We will visit a variety of springs looking for and playing with these wonderful marine mammals. Tours usually end around noon. Tours can be started later, but the quality of the "manatee experience" will not be as good. The earlier the better.
Rainbow River:
Drift dive or snorkel this! Rainbow River is a spring run that is about six miles long. It is crystal clear. Along the way you will see big bass, brim, turtles, and many other beautiful fish. It is rare that we actually get to drift the entire way. There is too much to see!
"Discover Scuba" Tour:
No experience is needed! The discover scuba program introduces basic safety information and then allows participants to scuba dive under close supervision of a dive instructor. Participants must be 8 years old or older.
Guided Dives:
Certified divers can be given a variety of guided dives in different locations. If it has been a while since your last dive, this is a good way to "get your feet wet" again with an instructor.
Fishing:
The area offers a wide variety of fish. The species we catch changes as the seasons change. Please call to find out what the latest action is. We will provide gear and licenses for four customers.
