Wildlife/Landscape Photography Workshops
in the Florida Everglades
Host: Jack Heinemann When: During the cool, dry months of the fall, winter, and spring. Summer tours can be arranged, but potential tour members should be aware of the nature of the Everglades in the summer (swarms of mosquitoes, intense lightning, and the occasional hurricane). Length of tour: Workshops run from Friday until noon on Sunday. Number of guests: One to four. We prefer to work with people in groups of two. Fee (as of 2006): $300.00 or $500.00 for two. Fees include transportation and lunch in the field. NOTE:Wildlife and nature photography is unpredictable due to the nature of the subject matter. Wild Light Photography guarantees that we will work to provide you success and make sure, above all, that you have fun.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS: From our base in Miami, we will lead you to some great opportunities to observe and photograph many of the wild birds and reptiles of the Everglades. We will arrange to photograph by hiking, car, bike, or canoe. Or, if you prefer, we'll explore the scenery and wildlife of the Big Cypress National Preserve, Fakahatchee Strand State Park, or the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Whether you want to learn more about adventure photography, wildlife photography, landscape shooting, or digital photography, we can customize our workshops to meet your needs. If you have a special skill you wish to learn or improve, we can help. Most importantly, the key to success in wildlife and adventure photography is knowledge of your subject - and we are experts in this area. Let us share our years of experience with the promise of many opportunities for great photos!
