Statment:
We have had over 11,000 local and overseas visitors since 1988. Photographs and visitors' letters are available. We are THE ONLY private operator in the TROPICAL RAINFOREST in Guyana. We cater for back packers and others that seek adventure. Log Cabins with 18 rooms for couples are being built with solar power lighting.

The following map of northern Guyana shows the location of the Mazaruni River, the head of which lies in the map's southwestern quadrant, with the mouth opening into the inlet west of Georgetown.

The program
Different people take to the rainforest in different ways. For everyone's safety and satisfaction, Ted divides his visitors into three "teams," with different options available for each team. He writes:

For a large group, the group would be split into three sections. Most groups of 6 in number, will require 6 guides. We always put extra so that if a member wishes to quit, a guide will be available to escort them back to camp. But the group must try to move as silently as possible, so as to see any wildlife, before it is frightened away. There are some people who find it very difficult not to talk, or walk quietly these we put into team C. or they will spoil the walk for the others.
