In general my guiding fee is usually $50.00 per day per person. I would charge students groups about $30.00 per person per day.We would also negotiate for a family group and I am sure that I would give a reasonable rate depending on the number. For the weeklong itinerary proposed below the high-season cost would be about $1000 per person, $800 duirng low season. Children, who must be at least 7 years old, are charged 75% of the adult rate. High season is 01/01/2002 to 31/03/2002 & 01/07/2002 to 31/12/2002, and low season is from 01/04/2002 to 30/06/2002 Cost includes: Return airport transfers in Nairobi. ITINERARY Day 01 NAIROBI After arrival pick up from the Airport and transfer to Hotel Boulevard where you will spend the night.Depending with time of arrival and individuals there will be a choice of visiting the Nairobi National Park on the this afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Boulevard. Day 02 NAIROBI/ABERDARES After breakfast,depart for Nyeri Town arriving in good time for lunch at Outspan Hotel,the Treetops base hotel. Later you will transfer to the famous Treetops Lodge for dinner and overnight.(Treetops is a tree lodge and you will watch the animals from the lodge as they come to drink at the nearby waterhole and the saltlick) Day 03 ABERDARES/SAMBURU After breakfast leave Treetops heading to further north past Mt Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Samburu Serena Lodge. After lunch there will be enough time to rest before embarking on the first evening gamedrive here. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Day 04 SAMBURU/SHABA GAME RESERVE Full day with a set of game drive and birdwatching with a visit to the adjacent Shaba National Reserve. Lunch.dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge. Day 05 SAMBURU/LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK After early morning breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a lunch stopover at the famous Thomson Falls. Arriving in time for evening gamedrive,we will also have an enroute game drive to our beautiful lodge Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 06 LAKE NAKURU/MAASAI MARA Today we will have an early morning gamedrive here on this well known park as the great birding spectacle on earth and after breakfast depart for Mara. Lunch enroute and arrival will be in good time for the first evening gamedrive here enroute to Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 07 MARA GAME RESERVE Full day mara expedition with a set of gamedrives to as far as Hippo pools,Maasai village visit and birdwatching.We will have our second night here at Mara sopa Lodge too. Day 08 MARA/NAIROBI After our early final morning gamedrive and final breakfast,depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute in one of the popular Nairobi hotels.After lunch there will be enough time to go shopping,take a day room for packing or simply take a city tour before transfering to the airport for the flight back home.
