Tour 1: Baan Huay Hee and Baan Nam Hoo (2 days, 1 night)
Departs Mae Hong Son town at 9:00 and returns the next day around 17:00
Day 1 Karen village life and homestay
After finishing your breakfast, we will visit to 2 Karen villages, which are located beneath the highest mountain in Mae Hong Son province, Doi Pui. The first stop will be a viewpoint, Doi San Pha, where you can enjoy the view of the town and its surroundings. We will then arrive at Ban Nam Hoo, the first Karen village, where we can have some tea and get experience to taste Karen food by having lunch with the villagers. After lunch, We will say good bye to the villager and transfer to Baan Huay Hee, the Karen village where we can learn about the way of life of the Karen. There will be a chance to visit an orchid nursery, the blacksmith, rice fields, and the weaving group. Dinner time with your host family. You will enjoy a cultural exchange and musical entertainment by the villagers
Day 2 Doi Pui and community forest trek
After Breakfast, local guides will take us through the nature trail leading up to the top of Doi Pui. On the way, we will have a chance to see a great variety of orchids, ferns, and forest wildlife as we walk through a protected forest area. Along the way, we will have a jungle lunch prepared by the villagers and enjoy the beautiful views. Then, after walking back down to Huay Hee village, we will say goodbye to the villagers and return to Mae Hong Son.

Tour 2: Doi Pui (2 days, 1 night)
Day 1 Rainforest trek and camping
After finishing your breakfast, we will drive to 2 Karen villages, which are located beneath the highest mountain in Mae Hong Son province, Doi Pui. The first stop will be a viewpoint, Doi San Pha, where you can enjoy the view of the town and its surroundings. We will then arrive at Ban Nam Hoo, the first Karen village where we can taste some local tea with the villager. We will transfer to Baan Huay Hee. Local guides will take us through the nature trail leading up to the top of Doi Pui, and experience Karen food by having lunch in the forest. On the way, we will have a chance to see a great variety of orchids, ferns, and forest wildlife as we walk through a protected forest area. We will set up camp in the forest and have dinner by a fire.
Day 2 Karen village life
Walking up to the top of Doi Pui, enjoy with the beautiful sunrise and landscape. We have breakfast before we make our way down to Huay Hee, where we spend the rest of the morning looking at the various activities of the villagers, such as the weaving group, the blacksmith, or work in the rice fields. We will have lunch with the villagers. The rest of time you can packing your belonging and say goodbye to the villagers. Return to Mae Hong Son.

Tour 3: The Great Hornbill Habitat 3 days, 2 night
Day 1 Trek and Karen village life and homestay
The morning of this tour is also the same as tours 1 and 2. After leaving Baan Nam Hoo we walk to the trail that will take us to Baan Huay Goong. The village is not connected by road, so we walk down for about 3 hours through the rainforest and bamboo forest, with wonderful scenery, crossing creeks and rice fields. Halfway down we can stop for lunch. When we arrive to the village you can take a refreshing swim on the Mae Samat River, walk around the village and relax, or you can participate in the fishing activities of the villagers. Tonight we have dinner and sleep at our homestay family’s house. (L,D)
Day 2 Rainforests and Great Hornbill
After breakfast with our homestay families, we start to walk along the river with our local guides, who will take us in a 7 to 8 hour walk through the Great Hornbill habitat. This is one of the oldest patches of forest that remain in Thailand, so you will notice great big trees, and hopefully see one of the most beautiful and rare birds in the world, the Great Hornbill. We will have lunch near a beautiful waterfall, with plenty of time to relax and swim. We return to Huay Goong in the afternoon, with time to relax, go fishing with the villagers or swimming in the river. We stay one more night with our homestay families here. (B, L, D)
Day 3 River crossing
The last day of our tour will take us along the Mae Samat river to Baan Pha Bong, about 3 hours away. We will have to cross the river several times today, so be prepared to get wet! In Pha Pong we will be picked up and driven back to Mae Hong Son. (B, L)

Day 1 Waterfall, Shan village life and homestay
The Shan and Lahu villages that we will visit are located about 2 hours north of Mae Hong Son town. The road takes us through beautiful scenery. Our first stop is Pha Sua Waterfall, which is at its best at the end of the rainy season in September and October. We then travel on to the Fish Cave and to the village of Huay Pueng, where we stop for lunch. Before we reach Melana we will stop at a viewpoint, where, if lucky, we will be able to see the famous “sea of mists.” Tonight we will have dinner and stay with families at Baan Melana, a large Shan village, which offers both traditional and modern Shan architecture. In the evening you will have the opportunity to learn more about Shan culture and history. (L,D)
Day 2 Trekking, caves and Lahu culture
After breakfast with our families, we will go on a 3-hour trek to the Lahu village Baan Bokrai. We will have the opportunity to visit a cave where prehistoric coffins have been discovered. After having lunch at Baan Bokrai with the Lahu villagers, we head back to Mae Hong Son town. (B, L)

Day 1 Waterfall, Lahu village life and homestay
The morning of this tour is the same as Tour 4. Before we reach Baan Jabo, we will stop at a viewpoint, where, if lucky, we will be able to see the famous “sea of mists.” Baan Jabo is a Lahu village. There will be opportunities this afternoon to learn more about Lahu culture. Tonight we will have dinner and stay overnight with a Lahu family. (L, D)
Day 2 Jeep trek
Today we well take a Jeep trek to the Burmese border. On the way we will pass through a beautiful mountainous landscape, Lahu villages, and caves. Tonight we will have dinner and stay with families at Baan Melana, a large Shan village, which offers both traditional and modern Shan architecture. In the evening you will have the opportunity to learn more about Shan culture and history.(B, L, D)

Day 1 Karen village life and homestay
Today’s activities are the same as Day 1 in Tour 1. In the evening there will be dinner and a cultural exchange before going to our homestay family’s house for the night. (L,D)

On the way, we will have a chance to see a great variety of orchids, ferns, and forest wildlife as we walk through a protected forest area. Day 3: Doi Pui and community forest trek
We wake up early and have breakfast. We walk to the top of Doi Pui to look at the beautiful sunrise and landscape and make our way down to Huay Hee, where we spend the rest of the morning looking at the various activities of the villagers, such as the weaving group, the blacksmith, or work in the rice fields.
After having lunch with the villagers, we say good bye and head back to Mae Hong Son. (B. L)

Day 2 Karen lifestyle and homestay
We drive to Baan Huay Thong Koe, where we will start our trek, will take us through several Karen villages. We will stop in Baan Huay Maidam for lunch, and reach Huay Thong Koe in the afternoon, where we will stay overnight with homestay families. (B, L, D)
Day 3 Rainforests, waterfall, homestay
This morning we start our trek, which will take us from Baan Huay Thong Koe, along the Mae Samat River to the Karen village of Huay Goong, about 8 hours away. We will stay overnight here with homestay families. During our trek we will go through old growth forests and Huay Poo Ling waterfall.(B, L, D)
Day 4 Hornbills and waterfall
After breakfast with our homestay families, we start to walk along the river with our local guides, who will take us in a 7 to 8 hour walk through the Great Hornbill habitat.
