Length of stay: A one-day trip is offered but if you want to stay longer probably we can work up something.

Fee: The guide fee is 40 USD per a day for one person or a group. Other expenses for food, travel, etc. depends on the visitor and we are working on figuring out an approximate fee and will post it here later. In Ukraine the costs are relatively low.If we need a minivan for a larger group the cost is 120USD for that. Dinner in the restaurant is 10 USD per person. Taras's English is "so-so." If you are willing to communicate with his limited English and fingers, smiles, latin, and so on, you don't need an interpreter. If you do need an interpreter, that is an extra 25 USD per day. The idea is very simple: You make contact with Taras, you decide where to meet and when, and then you go to the Lakes of Hodovychi. There you will look for crayfishes, fishes, frogs, lizards, mollusks, Black Stork, White Stork, Gulls, Buzzards, Kingfishers and other things, and Taras will tell you about them, as well as about aquatic ecosystems both natural and created by human activity.

The Hodovychi is a small country, which was making by human's unconscious industrial activity. The some animals lives there are rare in wild nature. Besides, there are is situated the complex of the production of gravel & build's rock in the area.

I have some interesting information about all habitans of this ecosystem, esppecially can full describe of plankton (water fleas, cyclops & other) with the origonal photo of these species.

The trip begin in Lviv and go to the lakes on Stryi district, which are situated not far from town Stryi (12 km). The trip is possible on the train, bus or route-care. Full trip is continued 4-5 hours.

Along the trip visitors can see the national costumes of of this region, watching by process of production building rock (making line), have lanch in the coast of Stryi river, can swiming in the cristal water, and fishing with profecional fishers, and listern the talk about science methods in invastigations of hydrofauna.
