Thumbnail Sketch:

Tom accepts no more than 6 hikers on any hike, but on those rare days when enough clients drop by to make it 6, he's glad to have them. In other words, unlike most other EarthFoot eco-events, when you arrive at Tom's for his walk, if others show up unannounced, you may find yourself having company -- unless you've made it clear beforehand that you want full attention yourself, and you've agreed to pay Tom the make-up cost.

Redwood trunks Even if others do join, that should not detract from the fact that on this walk you are accompanied by the only guide available for hikes in the moss-shrouded Redwood Forests of Muir Woods, where here and there you'll enjoy spectacular vistas of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco.

Tom's Scenic Trail Walks are leisurely walks on well-maintained trails with easy grades. On these hikes Tom shares his knowledge of the flora and fauna, Indian customs, and local folklore.
