This week-long visit focuses on world-class Marovo Lagoon's natural beauty. Paul
McGaham, a Contours Conservation Tourism Consultant of Christchurch, has called Marovo
Lagoon "one of the most spectacular and famous natural lagoons found anywhere in the
world." Time is also set aside to explore the traditional activities in local
villages and to look at the untouched forest. The lodging here constitutes an important
part of the experience. You will stay in an "eco-bungalow" designed and built in
traditional style, and have views over the fringing reef and open sea beyond. It is
designed for extremely low impact in this official nature reserve. Your host will be
