The Redwood Forests of Muir Woods
Thumbnail description: This is a leisurely 2- or 4-mile walk with the only guide in
Muir Woods. You hike on a well-maintained trails with easy grades, through the

primal setting, the forest is so close to San Francisco that from some spots in the forest
you can actually see the city across the waters. On these hikes naturalist Tom Martell shares his knowledge of the local flora and
fauna, Indian customs, and local folklore.
