Andes Tropicales is setting up a network of rural homes inviting visitors to stay
overnight, and to take day trips around the house. The idea is to walk through the
mountains from one house to another, staying wherever you want, and doing whatever your
inclination is. Travel is by horseback riding and hiking. Attractions include visiting a
unique cold tropical ecosystem, visiting potato-growing farms, meeting the people, and
having some majestic views of the Andes.
